Cultural Preadaptation Throughout history, groups of people have moved, or migrated, to other locations for variousreasons, often trying to carry their way of life to their new setting. The groups that are mostsuccessful in doing so typically exhibit cultural preadapt at/on. Groups that demonstratecultural preadaptation had previously adapted well to the environment of their homeland anddeveloped skills that would help them in their new environment. Cultural preadaptation is often seen when people migrate to a new area that is environmentally similar in some ways totheir original homeland. As a result, they are able to thrive in the new area.
