Professor
This week we talked about how important taking time off from work or school is for people's well-being. Some people believe they get the most benefit when that time off is structured: that is, it involves planning in advance about what will be accomplished on that day. Others believe it is better to enjoy the day with no plan for how to spend it. In this discussion post, please indicate which of those approaches to spending time off from work or school you prefer and why?
Claire
I find it beneficial to do some advance planning for my free time. I live far away from my family, so when I am getting ready to visit them during a school holiday, I always plan my time off from school very carefully. That way I have enough time to visit with each family member.
Paul
Personally, I prefer not to make any plans for my free time. I go to school, and 1 have a parttime job each week. I make a schedule to be sure 1 can complete both my work and my studies. So when 1 have time off from work and school, I just want to relax with no plan.

While I understand Claire's viewpoint on the benefits of making a plan, I totally agree with Paul's perspective that no plan for time off is more conducive. As mentioned by Paul, we can have fully relaxed ourselves without spending time planning for time off. After busy company work or school work, we are very tired and exhausted, making us to enjoy a whole day relaxing, instead of considering how to spend time. Apart from what Paul has mentioned, I would like to add that it is more advantageous for us to deal with potential emergency. For example, you planned how to spend your weekends, like shopping with your friends, writing homework, or preparing for examinations. However, there is an emergency call from your mom, who asks you to take care of your grandma. Such unexpected events will ruin your planning. Therefore, it is better to enjoy your days without advanced planning.

Title: 6 文章修订
In response to the professor's question, I concur with Paul's stance on preferring unstructured time off from work or school. As Paul pointed out, having no plan allows us to fully relax and unwind without the burden of organizing our leisure time. After engaging in demanding tasks at work or school, we often feel drained and desire a day of unencumbered relaxation rather than contemplating how to allocate our time off.
In addition to Paul's argument, I would like to emphasize that not having a predetermined plan for our free time can be advantageous in addressing unforeseen circumstances. For instance, imagine you have scheduled your weekend with various activities such as shopping with friends, completing homework, or preparing for exams. However, an unexpected call from your mother requesting your assistance in caring for your grandmother arises. Such unforeseen events can disrupt your carefully laid plans. Consequently, it is more favorable to embrace our days off without meticulous planning in advance. (163 words)
