This week, we will be analyzing the effects of different movie genres on audiences.Let's begin by discussing the following question. For the audience, which is a morevaluable experience: watching movies based on true facts and events, or watchingcompletely fictional movies about imaginary people and places? Why?Professor
Student AWatching movies based on true events can make audiences want to learn moreabout the event depicted in the movie. Recently I watched a movie about acivic leader fighting for labor reforms 50 years ago. Afterwood,I searched formore information on the web about her, and now I have a deeper understandngof that time in our history.
Student BAndrew makes a good point that people can be inspired to learn from moviesbased on true events. However, I believe that people can benefit from all kindsof movies, including completely fictional ones. Fictional movies do tend to beprimarily entertaining, but what's wrong with that? Being entertained is goodfor our well-being.

I think from the audiences perspective watching fictional movies is a more valuable experience. Most people go to the movies to escape their normal daily routine. They don't go to the movies to learn about true facts and events. These events are usually displayed on channels like PBS that have a very low rating. If you look at movies with the highest ratings etc they are fictional movies like Star Wars and Jurrasic Park for example. People want to go to the movies to essentially escape reality. Not everyone is like Andrew where they want to learn more after watching a movie about a civic reader. People who are interested in movies like Andrew can visit the public library or museums for those type of experiences.

Section Title: 6 文章修订
Revised Essay: In my opinion, audiences derive greater value from watching fictional movies as opposed to those based on true events. The primary purpose of attending a movie is often to seek respite from daily routines and immerse oneself in an alternate reality. While factual films may be informative, they tend to garner less attention, as evidenced by lower ratings on channels like PBS. Conversely, highly-rated fictional movies such as Star Wars and Jurassic Park captivate viewers with their imaginative storylines and settings. Although some individuals, like Andrew, may be inspired to research historical events after watching a fact-based film, the majority of moviegoers prefer the escapism offered by fictional narratives. Those interested in learning about real-life events can explore other avenues such as libraries or museums for a more enriching experience. (136 words)
