Admittedly, to some extent, Claire holds some merits when she says students should not take a gap year because of the fee. However, form my perspective, this doesn't matter a lot as the student is able to earn money during the gap year and in the future for the prices of the university. Plus there are governments who are always there try to help students in trouble. Andrew presents compelling arguments by saying that the gap year is a good chance for the students to clarify their education goals and plans in the university. Also, l would like to add that the gap year is also a good opportunity for students to do charitable things like engaging in the actionof protecting the environment or help the poor. One of my friends spent her gap year to teach kid who can't afford the tuition, she said this experience is meaningful and unforgettable.
