surfing a web, playing a video game or even reading an e-book, we are subjected to a
near-constant wave of advertisements. Some advertisements, such as commercials on TV
or the radio, are direct and overt. Other types of advertising more subtle, such as product
placement, where the company pays to have its product featured prominently in TV or a
video game. Given advertising‘s many forms and its consistent presence in outlive, it is
worthwhile considering the influence of advertisements on the individual. What do you
