Professor
With the coming of the summer vacation, study tours of primary and middle school students have become a hot attraction. Children come in groups to major attractions, museums and universities to learn while sightseeing. At the same time, some problems arise such as poor quality, excessive charges and security risks. What do you think makes a good study tour? If you had the chance, would you sign your child up for a study tour? Readers share their opinions.
abby
I encourage children to participate in study tours to enhance their understanding of the knowledge in books. China has a proverb that says, "It is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books." By experiencing firsthand the knowledge during their travels, we can turn the textbooks into real experiences, thus gaining a deeper comprehension of the knowledge's significance.
Michale
Educational trips offer students a precious opportunity to become more independent. In the school environment, children are often engrossed in academic studies, leaving little room for activities such as practical labor or sports, which are essential for a well-rounded individual. By engaging in independent living and problem-solving with peers, students can learn to navigate real-life situations.

From my perspective, I agree on Michale’s idea, study tours are great opportunities for students to improve their independence. On top of that, these tours can also make the dull classroom studies more interesting, creating a more relaxing mood between students and teachers. However, I disagree on Steve’s opinion, nowadays, most of the schools will select the best trips for kids but not advising random study tours blindly. Moreover, struggling on students’ safety is unnecessary due to the protection the schools provide and the insurance most reliable tours apply.

Section Title: 6 Article Revision
In my opinion, study tours indeed provide valuable opportunities for students to develop their independence, as Michale suggests. Additionally, these tours can enliven traditional classroom learning by fostering a more engaging and relaxed atmosphere among students and teachers. Contrary to Steve's view, I believe that schools today are more discerning in selecting high-quality trips for their students rather than endorsing random study tours without proper consideration. Furthermore, concerns regarding student safety are largely unwarranted given the protective measures implemented by schools and the insurance coverage offered by reputable tour providers. (95 words)
